Armed robbery at Grand Junction business
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) An armed robbery happened Sunday morning just after 10:15 a.m. at Dragon Island Gaming in the 300 block of Grand Mesa Avenue. Police said that an unknown male with a weapon came into the business demanding money and quickly left with a large amount of money. Police arrived on scene and searched the area. The news I read from KJCT News 8 is a notice that everywhere is risky. There was an armed robbery at the Grand Junction business around 10:00 last Sunday morning at the Dragon Island Gaming, at 300 block of the Grand Mesa Avenue. According to the police officers, an unknown man carrying a weapon came in and demanded money. He left quickly, taking a huge amount of money. The police arrived on the scene and checked the CCTV footage. However, the man was not identified in the surveillance footage because he was wearing a mask. It’s scary that people just came in and get out that way. Hopefully, he would be caught to be punished.
